An Evening with the Purdue University Global Collegiate Entrepreneurs on “The Founder”

We are meeting with distinguished members of the Purdue University Global Collegiate Entrepreneurs to discuss the movie called The Founder…The story of Ray Kroc, a salesman who turned two brothers’ innovative fast food eatery, McDonald’s, into the biggest restaurant business in the world, with a combination of ambition, persistence, and ruthlessness.

In part two, we will play a clip of our interview with Maureen Recalde, winner of the Voice of McDonald’s.  Voice of McDonald’s is the largest global singing competition of its kind, open to the 1.8 million McDonald’s restaurant employees around the world. More than 2,500 employees entered the inaugural competition. Maureen discusses her experience as the winner of the Voice and McDonald’s and shares her story of her mom who has worked with McDonald’s for over 40 years and today is an owner-operator of two McDonald’s.
